Core Cybersecurity Capabilities
Everfox CEO David Wajsgras has outlined the cybersecurity company's growth strategy, focusing on its core cross-domain and insider risk technologies alongside plans for upcoming acquisitions.
In an interview with Executive Mosaic, reported by GovCon Wire, Wajsgras explained that Everfox operates primarily in two overlapping sectors. The first, cross-domain solutions, enables secure data transfers across different security classification levels, such as top secret, secret, and unclassified, without risking data exposure. This technology also facilitates horizontal information sharing between international coalition partners, such as the U.S. Army and its U.K. counterparts.
Wajsgras, who took the helm of Everfox in January, noted that the company is a market leader among the small group of firms capable of producing these high-barrier technologies. He identified raising awareness of these capabilities within the warfighting support community as the company's primary opportunity. To support this, Everfox launched the latest version of its High Speed Guard in August, which is designed to accelerate high-volume data sharing across classification levels.
Addressing Insider Risk
The company's second focus is insider risk, which centers on counterintelligence and protecting trade secrets within critical infrastructure and sensitive environments. According to Wajsgras, these capabilities are utilized by the majority of U.S. defense and intelligence agencies. Notably, the FBI completed the deployment of Everfox's insider threat tools, including user activity monitoring and behavioral analytics, across multiple networks in September.
Future Acquisition Strategy
Looking ahead to his second year leading the company, Wajsgras plans to pursue strategic acquisitions. While his first year focused on executing the existing platform, resetting the product roadmap, and assisting customers, the next phase will target acquisitions in core and adjacent areas to enhance Everfox's capabilities.
Despite challenging market valuations, Wajsgras expects the company's portfolio to evolve significantly over the next year, using the national defense strategy as a framework for development.
